The Company
The journey began in Goa in the year 1989 when Sammy established his jewellery business. Beginning at the age of 18, his passion for jewellery business and designing guided his creative side. Initially, Sammy started with Exotic Gems, with his complete dedication, hard work and passion, the company has overseen its expansion, making a world-renowned brand, he introduced “Mumana Jewellers Pvt Ltd.” Now the business has expanded including nine more outlets in many of the most prestigious locations throughout India

It is of utmost importance to Mumana that the jewellery it creates is in every form appropriate for each individual client. Bringing together a team of some of the most highly regarded designers in India and more than 90 skilled craftsmen in his manufacturing centre, Mumana is fast becoming the jeweller of choice to a growing international clientele under the brand name “Exotic Gems”. Experts take time and care in giving personal guidance to each customer advising on stones and settings and taking into account the colouring, style and personality of the wearer with a sense of understanding in which season a particular piece would be principally worn- ensuring jewellery and wearer perfectly complement each other. Sales staff in Mumana outlets have been expertly trained to guide and advise its customers on all aspects of design, choice of stones and settings hence successfully securing it’s long term success

Jewellery making is an art, it has had great cultural significance in India since Moghuls and we are fortunate that nature has gifted us her most precious stone like sapphires, emeralds and Golconda diamonds amongst others, to enrich our lives.
In Sanskrit, diamonds are described as “the jewel above all others” and until 18th century India’s Golconda mines were the only location in the world where diamonds were mined. Today, although mining has been ceased here, India had emerged as the largest centre for cutting and polishing diamonds from 25 countries throughout the world.
Over the last three decades, Sammy has produced exquisite designs from the richness of India’s cultural heritage whilst working on a more contemporary applications, as a result, the company has built an enviable reputation for creating exciting and innovative pieces with highest quality of workmanship.
At Mumana exquisitely designed, contemporary as well as vintage pieces, using only the most carefully selected gems including diamonds, rubies, sapphires, emeralds, and other precious stones are set in high caret precious metals such as white and yellow gold. Our designers and skilled craftsmen blend modern with traditional designs to create a signature, masterpiece collection.
